Serendipity:

If you like something, you tend to be on the lookout for it. And if you're on the lookout for it, you tend to find it, or it- Yoo-Hoo! Over here!- finds you. And so it goes, for me, with serendipity and coincidence. It's something I like, so it's something I notice and attract.

Sometimes I feel like my life is one GIANT serendipitous moment. I have heard this word growing up because these kinds of moments seem to happen a lot in my life.

When I was about twelve years old we went to Cincinnati to visit my family. My family runs a lot so we ran a 5k while we there. My mom doesn't know a stranger and she met a woman at the race and they talked while running about how they were going to see the Cincinnati Reds game and my mom said that so were we. After the race my mom said goodbye and they didn't talk again. We went to the game and we were in the nosebleed section. The stadium was huge it could fit more than 50,000 people inside it. Who walks up behind us but the woman that my mom ran with. Out of all the seats and all the 5ks in a big city these two women got the opportunity to meet twice. Crazy right!

Another moment is my greatest achievement to date...

My senior year of high school I was taking AP English and Literature. One day I did not read the book that was assigned and we had a pop quiz where we had to give a summary of the book and list the characters and their personalities. I had no idea so I guessed the summary and the character's personalities. I even guessed that two characters were long lost brothers. I got a 100 on the quiz. I got a higher grade than my twin sister who actually read the book. I would call this a serendipitous moment.
